The Scream Foundation Hosts Second Annual Tons of Toys Holiday Giveback Event
On December 20, 2025, The Scream Foundation proudly hosted its Second Annual Tons of Toys Holiday Giveaway at the historic Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA in Atlanta. The event was a powerful celebration of community, generosity, and joy, bringing together families, partners, and supporters to uplift Atlanta’s youth during the holiday season.
Founded by DJ Scream and his wife, co-founder Jessica, The Scream Foundation was honored during the event by Atlanta City Councilwoman Eshe Collins, who presented the founders with an official City Proclamation recognizing the Foundation’s incredible service to the City of Atlanta and its meaningful, lasting impact on the community.
This year’s event reached an extraordinary level of success, welcoming approximately 1,000 children and families. Through the collective efforts of our partners and sponsors, The Scream Foundation successfully distributed over 1,000 toys, more than 300 winter coats, and numerous prizes and giveaways including grocery store gift cards and monetary gifts.
The energy throughout the event was amplified by live entertainment and special guests. We are especially thankful to recording artist Pluto, who attended the event to personally spread holiday cheer, excitement, and encouragement to the children. Her presence reflected the heart of The Scream Foundation’s mission, bringing the experience directly to the community rather than requiring the community to come to the experience.
The Scream Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to our partners and sponsors who helped make this event possible, including the historic Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA, 96.1 The Beat ATL, Matrix Marketing, and Atlanta United.
We also thank our collaborative community organizations whose support and service were invaluable, including The Better Days Project, UrnTh3Crib Inc, I Am Human Foundation, and AMCP. Special appreciation goes to Puddin Pie Desserts for providing delicious treats that added to the holiday spirit.
The Second Annual Tons of Toys event was not only a success, but a testament to what is possible when community, compassion, and purpose come together. As The Scream Foundation continues its mission, we remain committed to growing bigger, better, and greater, ensuring that even more families experience hope, warmth, and joy in the years to come.
