Celebrating Community, Youth & Giving Back

The Scream Foundation, in partnership with 96.1 The Beat and the YMCA, proudly hosted the 6th Annual Fresh Fest on Saturday, August 1, 2026.Fresh Fest was a community celebration created to bring joy, opportunity, and positive experiences to children and families throughout Atlanta. The event brought together families, community partners, volunteers, sponsors, artists, and supporters for an unforgettable afternoon centered around music, fun, giving back, and celebrating our youth. Held from 12 PM–4 PM, Fresh Fest 2026 welcomed children and families for an afternoon filled with entertainment, activities, food, community resources, and experiences designed to create lasting memories. A major contributor to the success of Fresh Fest 2026 was the Black Male Initiative (BMI), whose generous support helped make the event possible. The initiative’s commitment to empowering Black men and boys and investing in the community aligned closely with Fresh Fest’s mission of creating positive opportunities and experiences for young people. More than just a community event, Fresh Fest reflected The Scream Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth and underserved communities. Through the collaboration of 96.1 The Beat, the YMCA, the Black Male Initiative, and dedicated community partners, the event brought together organizations and individuals with a shared commitment to strengthening families and investing in the next generation. The Scream Foundation was proud to create another opportunity for children and families to feel seen, celebrated, supported, and inspired.
